My love for jewelry started way back in middle school. I still remember trying to wear as many rings as possible so that I can be cool like Aaliyah. My love for creating jewelry started in college. This is where I learned how complicated a simple piece of jewelry can be to make. This definitely gave me a new appreciation in the craft. So off I went to San Francisco, creating jewelry and selling them as a street vendor while attending school to get my teaching credentials.

Then I had kids. My focus shifted and my energy went to taking care of my little family. It was a huge eye opener and one that I am thankful for everyday. This also started my quest to a better, natural and safe lifestyle for my family. Essential oils was a game changer. Not only was this journey about learning and using essential oils but it also opened back up my creative journey, one that I knew I would go back to.

Finding out about lava beads and how it is used as a way to diffuse the oils made me so excited to add them to my designs. Not only was it amazing that lava beads could diffuse your essential oils but I just fell in love with the contrast of the porous bead against metal or a shiny bead.

Adding essential oils to your lifestyle has so many benefits and now adding that to jewelry has definitely gave my creations so much more meaning.
